Located at Good Samaritan Hospital

Full Time (80 Hours Biweekly) 

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm (No Weekends or Holidays required)

Intermittent On-Call Required


Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Director Invasive Cardiology, assists with planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities and functions of Invasive Heart and Vascular Services.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manages and coordinates administrative and technical functions of the Invasive Cardiology Department.
  2. Consults with medical staff and other health care providers on matters relating to departmental functions and/or related services. Some reports in non-invasive and imaging
  3. Understands and incorporates Lean methodology to aspects of the department operations and entities.
  4. Understands and makes recommendations for process improvement related to a variety of complex and detailed workflows.
  5. Leads and manages special projects associated with the role and/or Heart and Vascular Services.
  6. Coordinates departmental databases and reports and ensures that statistical data is maintained for administrative and regulatory purposes.


  • Minimum Experience:
    • 2 - 3 years
  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory
  • Required Certification:
    • BLS Certification
  • Preferred Certification:
    • Registration and current RN license in PA; ACLS certification
