Medical Director - Quality & Innovation

WMG is seeking a seeking a physician to join their leadership team and work to ensure the successful completion of WMG objectives and strategic goals. The Medical Director, Quality and Innovation will collaborate with a team to support the quality improvement work of primary care and specialty practices and their efforts to transform into highly functioning, diverse, integrated care teams.

Position Highlights:

  • Position is 50/50 split between Medical Director activities, and clinical practice.
  • Participate as a member of the WMG Quality and Innovation Team.
  • Reports to:  Regional Medical Director, WMG.
  • Oversee the quality improvement efforts of WMG primary care and specialty practices.
  • Serve as a resource for WMG operations regarding provider issues.
  • Support the transformational work of the practices into Patient Centered Medical Homes/Neighborhood.
  • Attend monthly site director and quality council meetings.
  • Facilitate new provider orientation meetings.
