About the Opportunity
The Medical Director, Neurosciences Service Line will work directly with the Vice-President, Neurosciences Service Line to provide clinical, programmatic, and strategic oversight of service line activities across the WellSpan Health System.  This position is intended to be 50% clinical and 50% administrative leadership.
 

Duties Include:

  • Develops and implements service line strategic plans.
  • Utilizes knowledge of current and future policies, practices, trends, competitive threats and other information affecting the business and organization to advance the service line.
  • Develops of strategies to implement new services and emerging treatment options
  • Ensures that current standards of care are maintained.
  • Partners in provider recruitment.
  • Adheres to being a life-long learner and collaborative service line leader

Qualifications:

  • M.D./D.O and completion of neurosciences fellowship
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare leadership as a Medical Director or Clinical Chairman
  • Board certification in a neurosciences specialty
