WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our established practice.  This leadership position’s located in Ephrata, PA.


About the Practice

  • Ephrata Community Hospital (ECH) is a busy 130-bed hospital
  • The hospital features two state-of-the-art catheterization labs & a 10-bed ICU
  • Their robust PCI Program was launched in 2016
  • 200+ PCIs were performed in the past fiscal year
  • Patients needing CT surgery/backup are transferred to Good Samaritan Hospital
  • ECMO and LVAD are available at nearby York Hospital
  • Busy ED (40,000+ visits) & strong referral base ensures a steady stream of complex cases
  • The Ephrata area is growing exponentially
  • An easy commute to the King of Prussia area makes it attractive to young families
  • In addition, Lancaster County is now the 2nd largest retirement destination in the U.S.
  • The Medical Director will work closely with Cardiovascular Service Line leadership
  • Full support from the hospital’s Office of the President
  • Collegial group of five cardiologists including all sub-specialties
  • Three Cardiac CRNPs share call responsibility
