Medical Director at Quest Behavioral Health

Seeking a Psychiatrist to serve as a part time Medical Director for Quest Behavioral Health. This position oversees the utilization review and clinical activities of the care management staff and drives the quality and appropriateness of behavioral health services.

Position Highlights:

  • Provides medical oversight and clinical improvement efforts to ensure the widespread deployment of evidence-based practice for safe, effective, equitable, patient-centered, and efficient care.
  • Supports the oversight of utilization and care management programs, internal controls, and consultation regarding credentialing and recredentialing processes and guidelines to meet external and internal requirements.
  • Works remotely and collaboratively with providers and clinical leadership to bring clinical viewpoints of managed care to various System initiatives. Provides peer to peer consults with outside agencies / entities when appropriate.
  • Reports to the President of Quest Behavioral Health.

 

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Psychiatrist to practice medicine in Pennsylvania with minimum five years’ experience. Must be board certified.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
