 General Summary for Allied or Licensed Mental Health Professional:

  • Running groups
  • Completes Intakes & ISPT’s
  • Facilitates Family Night & Caregiver Education Materials
  • Writes TX Plans (standard template) & Discharge Summaries
  • Provides individual supervision to direct care staff
  • Mon-Fri; no weekends, 11:45am-7:45pm; shifts to day hours over summer
  • Team oriented role working collaboratively with staff


The Therapeutic After-School Program TASP offers structured & therapeutic programming to increase coping skills & social skills. TASP allows for Students to participate in therapeutic groups & activities specifically designed to meet their individual mental health treatment needs. We believe “treatment is teaching”.  Practice of skills help our students’ build confidence & ability to successfully translate to other domains.  


Program serves students ages 6-12 with an Axis I Diagnosis & extends to age 14 for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder or a Development Disability.  


  • Offered year round—Students typically attend 2-3 days a week after school, including over summer months up to 5 days.
  • Students grouped & vary according to target need, developmental level, & skill groups.
  • Treatment through group setting.
  • Use of Evidenced Based curriculums.
  • Teaching, rehearsal, & generalization of skills.
  • Family Involvement—daily communication sheet, monthly newsletter, monthly progress updates, & monthly Family Night
  • Community integration activities to rehearse skills.


Target Population:

Students in the target population will demonstrate skill deficits such as: difficulty with coping skills, social skills, peer interactions, interactions with adults/authority figures, and conflict resolution skills. Primary diagnosis such as Anxiety, ADHD, & Autism. Students must be able to function in a group setting and cannot require 1:1 support.

Required Experience
  • Licensure in PA: LBS, LSW, LPC or LCSW
  • Will consider unlicensed mental health professional
