General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting.

WellSpan Medical Group is seeking a full-time Internist for their York location. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible if a resident.

Position Highlights:
- BC/BE Internist to provide full-time, outpatient care
- The care team is comprised of seven physicians and three CRNPs
- Monday - Friday office hours with some evenings
- Patient population includes many WellSpan Health employees
- State-of-the-art suburban office centrally located in South York
- Practice has achieved NCQA recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Administrative skills.
