Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Director-Human Resources, performs diversified and confidential administrative duties. Provides front desk support to walk-ins and callers. Requires an intermediate degree of technical and communications/interpersonal skills, knowledge and ability. May complete lower complexity projects, and/or processes as assigned. Provides outstanding service to internal and external customers as the first point of contact for Human Resources.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Greets customers, directs callers and responds to inquiries for a variety of Human Resources questions, which includes providing accurate and timely presentation of information.
  2. Provides support to the HR Business Partners and assigned HR leadership to include generation of employee letters, mailings, scheduling of meetings, and general clerical and administrative support.
  3. May assemble and distribute information related to specific HR initiatives.
  4. Provides support to WellSpan team members submitting clearance and license documentation; follows up with scanning to the appropriate HR support area for processing.
  5. Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
  6. Provides support for special initiatives, events and projects.
  7. Answers general inquiries from callers and walk-ins as appropriate.
  8. Coordinates and places supply orders through assigned software system.
  9. Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to staff.

    • 1 - 2 years

    • High School or G.E.D.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Mostly sedentary work
    • Occasionally lifts supplies/equipment

    • Excellent skills with automated office applications; excellent communications/interpersonal skills
