General Summary:

Our ideal candidate develops and executes strategic marketing growth plans for designated services lines, business units, locations across a matrix environment with a focus on organizational goals.  Candidates should be self-starters with a can-do spirit who apply critical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, deadlines, and results.

 

This position is integral in developing marketing strategy for assigned service lines, departments, and entities.  The Sr. Specialist ensures achievement of business objectives as well as developing marketing message consistency and campaign effectiveness by planning, research, creation and implementation of marketing plans, tactics, and campaign deliverables. 

 

Here is what you will be doing:

 

Relationship Management:

Crucial to the success of service line marketing is becoming embedded with the team to understand their business, barriers, and opportunities to excel in a very competitive landscape. 

 

  • Serves as marketing point of contact and manages relationship with business partners
  • Responsible for managing and prioritizing the needs of stakeholders
  • Serve as a marketing expert and internal advisor for stakeholders
  • Manages contractors, external resources, and vendors
  • Collaborates with Communications, Operations, Clinical areas, Business Development, Physician Liaisons, and Innovations Team Members

 

Marketing Strategy:

  • Working collaboratively with administrative and clinical leadership of assigned areas, you will develop marketing plans that solve business needs and drive revenue to the organization.
  • Focus on key priorities with measurable results through the development of an annual marketing plan.
  • Support physician liaison team with marketing strategies that drive volume referrals.
  • Oversee all tactics, budgets, and timelines to ensure campaign effectiveness and deadlines.
  • Research to identify areas, needs or opportunities to leverage marketing or improve campaign effectiveness along with competitive analysis.
  • Develop creative/campaign briefs with full spectrum of research, key messages, objectives, and tactical intentions with measurable goals.
  • Skilled at omni-channel marketing and implementation.
  • Develops market level knowledge to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Coordinates with web team and clients to ensure all web additions, changes, and deletions are handled in a timely manner and keeping with overall brand guidelines.
  • Determines campaign KPIs and other key metrics and calculates ROI for campaign. 

Project Management:

  • Must be skilled at using project management tools, methodology.
  • Expert attention to tight deadlines, competing priorities and managing multiple dependencies.
  • Coordinates with assigned producer to develop marketing materials by the creative studio team to ensure deliverables are trafficked to the agency of record on time.
  • Oversee media plan and expenditures through tracking system.
  • Inputs all projects, tasks, and deadlines in project management system.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree

 

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree

 

Minimum Experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in Healthcare marketing, business, sales, or another healthcare-related field
  • Up to speed with digital marketing techniques and best practices
  • Analytical and creative thinker
  • Provide post-campaign analysis and communicate key campaign learnings to apply to future campaigns
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills and team player.
  • Demonstrated high collaborator who seeks to build consensus and understanding.
  • Experience working within a matrix organization and complex work environment.
  • Preference given to candidates with health system or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Utmost importance for professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions is essential.
