Adults, children and adolescents needing inpatient services who have significant difficulty functioning in their homes, employment or communities. They may also be at high risk for harming themselves and/or others. They may be unable to attend to normal routines or expectations due to depression, anxiety or other mental health problems.
Multidisciplinary inpatient treatment teams direct and implement the individualized care for each person.
WellSpan’s NURSE RESIDENCY Program
Initiated during orientation, this one-year residency program offers educational sessions and visits by clinical educators to assist you in becoming successful. You will learn specific skills, attend progress meetings and slowly increase your patient load. The program ends with a final project presentation and a celebration!

CLINICAL NURSE ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM (CNAP)
WellSpan offers four different clinical ladder levels with compensation increasing as you advance. This is a voluntary and selective process that recognizes and advances nurses who excel in clinical and leadership skills.
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level within an assigned unit according to established procedures, protocols and regulations. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
