Family Physician- Weight Management

WellSpan Medical Weight Management, Chambersburg is seeking a dynamic Family Medicine physician

with a passion for non-surgical treatment of obesity. This collegial team is separate from Bariatric Surgery and works collaboratively to provide patients with the best care possible. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, compassionate & open minded and comfortable supervising three CRNPs.

Practice Specifics:

  • Providers include a physician & three experienced CRNPs
  • Satellite office is staffed by one of the CRNP's
  • Dedicated practice manager & staff round out the care team
  • Located in an accessible suburban area with plenty of free parking
  • Flexible schedule of four 10-hour days or Monday-Friday
  • Office is open 7 a.m.-5 p.m. w/ some evening appointments available
  • Current hybrid model includes in-house & virtual office hours
  • Commitment to the Four Pillars of Medical Weight Management, by OMA
  • Nutrition, positive behavioral modification, physical activity & appropriate use of meds
  • Goal is to eventually develop a Pediatric Weight Management Program as well as to be Accredited as a Center of Excellence.

Franklin County, named after Benjamin Franklin, was officially formed in 1784.
