About the Opportunity

  • Seeking PRN board certified/eligible emergency medicine physicians
  • Join a staff of 11 experienced physicians and 3 advanced practice clinicians
  • Non-trauma hospital with 30,000+ ED visits/year
  • Interesting patient mix of Gettysburg College students/faculty, National Park tourists and migrant workers from surrounding Knouse Foods (Musselman and Lucky Leaf) apple orchards
  • Beautiful state-of-the-art emergency department
  • Features 18 private treatment rooms, 13 stretcher rooms and 5 fast care rooms
  • Support includes fast lab turnaround, hospitalist team to facilitate admissions and digital imaging exam rooms
  • As of September 2018, the hospital began offering a PCI Program
  • Transition to EPIC occurred in October 2017
  • Excellent benefits including paid medical malpractice with tail coverage
