Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Manager-Prehospital Services will perform a variety of functions related to patients in the accordance with appropriate rules, regulations and protocols.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists with the transfer of patients from Personally Owned Vehicle (POV) or walk in to Emergency Department via appropriate means.
  2. Assists visitors in finding their destination.
  3. Transfers patients to appropriate destination when not visiting the Emergency Department.
  4. Assists discharged patient into their POV.
 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 3 - 6 months
  • Minimum Education:
    • High School or G.E.D.
  • Required Certification:
    • Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) certification in PA; BLS certification
  • Required Courses:
    • Emergency Vehicle Operator's Course
