General Summary:

 


Under the general supervision of the Project One Environments/Releases Manager, configures and supports the interface used to migrate application build using the Data Courier application. Defines and implements the change control processes and coordinates key Epic environment activities for build migration.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:



1 Assists in developing, communicating and managing the Epic environment strategy related to data migration methods and schedules.
2 Develops new or enhances existing applicable change control processes to include Epic components and build.
3 Participates in or leads change control, upgrade planning, downtime planning and go-live planning committees.
4 Designs data migration strategies and manages large data loads.
5 Creates documentation for use in infrastructure configuration, maintenance and upgrade planning.
6 Configures, monitors, and troubleshoots issues related to the Data Courier interfaces.
7 Manages the migration and troubleshooting of application build across Epic environments.
8 Maintains Data Courier interfaces and protection settings in accordance with policies and procedures.
9 Instructs application analysts on Data Courier and import/export functionality.
10 Resolves CID/UCI synchronization issues.
11 Works with core application team members to import, export and troubleshoot master file migration.
12 Keeps department/project management and steering committees informed regarding project progress, issues and need for changes.
13 Continuously updates personal training, performance improvement and managerial skills and knowledge.
14 Assists in the development of educational plans and training programs designed to facilitate the transition to new applications.
15 Ensures all work and documentation meet appropriate department/service line/project standards.
16 Provides backup support and assistance for environment/release management and security functions.
17 Responsible for NOVA administration for note assignment and administration.

 

Required Skills

 

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree

 

 

Minimum Experience

3 - 5 years of Data Courier Experiencing

Experience with Epic (preferred) 

Experience with NoVa 

Epic Chronicles experience

 

Min Field Of Expertise

Application Environment Management, preferably in an Epic support environment

 

 

Req Cert/Registration

Applicable Epic Certification(s) for applications/technologies supported must be achieved within 6 months of hire date including Data Courier Administration (DC100/200) and Chronicles Install Utilities (CHR200)
