General Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, York Health Foundation, plans, coordinates, executes and reports on all YHF and system-wide corporate giving goals and initiatives.  Develops corporate giving strategy focused on partnerships related to priority WellSpan projects, programs and initiatives, corporate donor levels/recognition and related benefits.  Manages portfolio of corporate donors and prospects focused on mission-focused partnership, social responsibility partnership opportunities, and event sponsorship.  Leads and manages volunteers related to annual corporate campaigns, special funding initiatives and events.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Coordinates all aspects of corporate giving program for WellSpan York Health Foundation - including strategy, logistics, budget creation, cultivation/solicitation/stewardship of corporate donors, sponsor recognition/ promotion and coordination of volunteers.
  2. Staffs and manages committees for annual corporate campaigns and events.
  3. Sets annual revenue targets for corporate giving program and collaborates closely with corporate donors/ prospects as well as representatives of WellSpan-supported programs and initiatives/ beneficiaries.
  4. Develops corporate giving strategy model based on best practices/trends in healthcare sector and nonprofit fundraising related to corporate giving. 
  5. Manages corporate donor and prospect portfolio.  Plans and coordinates outreach, annual schedule of corporate donor meetings and visits, and general solicitation.
  6. May serve as the system lead for corporate giving, working closely with other foundation development staff and volunteers on systemwide strategy and implementation
  7. Works with WS business development team to establish and execute cross functional strategies to build overall customer relationships and loyalty  

 

Qualifications:

 

  Note:                          Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.

 

  Minimum Education       Bachelor's Degree

                                     

  Minimum Experience     2 - 3 years                             

  

  Skills: Other                 Excellent interpersonal skills; Ability to perform basic database functions, including donor information entry and running basic queries and reports; computer applications skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge); strong writing skills; ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
