Clinical Instructor - Respiratory Therapy - School of Respiratory Care - Days

Job Description:
Under general supervision, teaches theory and clinical practices of respiratory therapy to students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lectures and gives classroom demonstrations on subjects and illustrates using audiovisual equipment, models, etc. Instructs and demonstrates the care of patients.
- Observes and evaluates students' performance in actual clinical situations, and assists, guides, and instructs as necessary.
- Prepares assignments and examinations to determine student progress and grades. Maintains all required student records and prepares related reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience:
- 1 - 2 years
- Minimum Education:
- Associate's Degree
- Required Certification:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Physical Demands:
- Frequent prolonged standing/walking
- Skills:
- Good verbal and written communications skills; basic computer literacy
