Clinical Coordinator (Nursing) - Imaging - Days
The Imaging RN is responsible for providing pre-post care, assessing patient health problems and needs, providing education, maintaining medical records, and administering moderate sedation intra procedure, while working in a team environment. Care of the patient includes IV starts, general procedure preparation, procedural sedation, managements of emergency events, and maintenance of a safe patient environment. Shifts are mainly 9hr day shift, Mon-Friday 0730-1700, with an on on call rotation.
Job Description:
Registered nurse. Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations, Clinical Coordinator assists in managing the daily operations and activities of professional nursing and nursing support staff in the ASF. Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care, service excellence, and patient experience. Provides direct individualized patient care at an experienced clinical nurse level as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises clinical staff by training, allocating and monitoring work. Prepares work schedules of clinical staff; approves/disapproves scheduled time off. Assists the Director of Operations with interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training of clinical staff. Evaluates performance of designated clinical staff. Coordinates continuing education of clinical staff and assures clinical competencies are met.
- Maintains a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with ASF standards.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population. Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment. Provides direct patient care to assigned patient age group(s).
- Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
- Maintains established policies and procedures, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
- The following are nonessential job accountabilities for ADA
- Ensures an adequate stock of supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as identified.

- Minimum Experience:
- 3 - 5 years
- Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Required Certification:
- Current RN license in PA; ACLS certification & PALS preferred.
