Job Description

WellSpan Health is seeking a qualified, dependable Class “A” or “B” CDL Driver to join our Mobile Mammography team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our 40’ coach to and from client’s location, setup when you arrive, and tear down prior to departure. Our drivers must always drive safely, be professional, and courteous when performing their work. We prefer candidates who have at least six months of CDL driving experience, have a clean driving record with no moving violations, and who are familiar with DOT regulations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Map routes to ensure safe and efficient travel
  2. Communicate with Fleet Services to report any vehicle concerns or damage
  3. Help maintain coach by performing regular inspections, checking tire pressure, and checking fluids
  4. Maintain detailed driving post-trip inspection logs to maintain DOT compliance
  5. Track and report working hours to maintain DOT compliance
  6. Adhere to all company rules and policies
  7. Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
  8. Maintain a professional appearance
  9. Submit to post-accident drug and alcohol testing as required by DOT OR as directed by Employee Health
  10. Help maintain cleanliness of the coach
  11. Assists with the set up and break down of the coach for each event
  12. Assists technologists with tasks as appropriate
  13. Fuel vehicle at each outing
  14. Maintain required employment training (LMS)
  15. Take part in departmental huddles
  16. All other duties as assigned
  17. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.
  18. Participates in educational programs and in service meetings.
  19. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 6+ months of driving a motor coach or similar 40’ straight truck a plus
  • Minimum Education:
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
