Part Time (40 Hours Biweekly) - Day/Evening Shift

 

 

General Summary:


Under the supervision and direction of the pharmacy supervisor/staff pharmacist, fills and/or compounds routine orders for pharmaceuticals and non pharmaceutical items and other related duties.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists appropriate supervisors and pharmacists in all aspects of dispensing of medicinal and non-medicinal items.
  • Assists customers and performs technical duties as required. Make deliveries to customers per job site requirements.
  • Submits, receives and checks in orders from suppliers as needed.
  • Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
Required Skills

 

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • National Pharmacy Certification (required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and the ability to use various software applications at once
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Required Experience

 

  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a hospital pharmacy (preferred)
