Part-time, 20 hours per week, flexible schedule

Job Description:

The ABA Case Manager assists in facilitating the design, development, provision and evaluation of adult behavioral services.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Checks for MA eligibility/HealthChoices enrollment.
  2. Contacts parent/county agencies involved/other professionals.
  3. Completes necessary tracking forms/documentation.
  4. Completes and compiles necessary information to generate funding for each patient.
  5. Tracks/monitors funding authorizations.
  6. Problem-solves/seeks resolution surrounding billing issues with assistance of WellSpan Philhaven MA biller and case manager coordinator.
  7. Contacts parents as necessary regarding eligibility status.
  8. Assigns patients authorized for services to individual staff..
  9. Tracks admission status/change in authorized hours/discharges to efficiently assign patients and inform staff of changes.
  10. Compiles caseload information to distribute to staff.
  11. Completes documentation check bi-weekly.
  12. Maintains accurate status report including patient name, hours authorized, and waiting list.
  13. Adheres/enforces policies and procedures and/or charges to existing program and ensures proper implementation.
  14. Assists in development of policies and procedures.


  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Mental health related field
  • Preferred Experience:
    • A minimum of one year post bachelor’s degree experience working in the mental/behavioral health field
  • Skills:
    • Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills; analytical ability; visual and hearing ability
