General Summary:


Under general supervision, coordinates all aspects of treatment, evaluation, support services and education for  
patients. Coordinates clinical documentation from referring and treating physicians for each patient.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently performs device interrogation, programming, and remote transmission.
  • Provides clinical evaluation of patients’ overall well-being and assist with post implant wound site.
  • Managing pacemaker data in all available applications and patient medical records
  • Communicating testing results to patients and discussing any findings
  • Training and educating patients on all aspects of proper use of transmitting devices
  • Troubleshoots patient compliance issues
  • Key role in addressing and triaging patient concerns regarding cardiac device and arrhythmia issues. 
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety via efficient monitoring of implanted cardiac devices.
  • Schedules appointments and facilitates appropriate in-office follow up
  • Completes paperwork and electronic orders



Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Registration and current RN license in PA
Required Experience
  • 3 - 5 years nursing experience
