Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Senior Director-Talent Acquisition, builds and manages relationships with schools and outside organizations to promote careers at WellSpan and enhance candidate pipelines. This position would also track all students that are involved in any clinical rotations or internal student programs to further promote career opportunities at WellSpan.


  1. Builds and maintains relationships with schools, including specific program leaders, and outside community groups supporting employment.
  2. Works with schools and diversity groups on a local, regional, and national level.
  3. Through relationships with schools and program leaders, ensures students are aware of career opportunities and benefits at WellSpan.
  4. Works closely with community-based programs to ensure accessibility of recruitment opportunities and benefits to diverse and under-represented groups.
  5. Builds, maintains, and tracks students on clinical rotations or through student programs within the system to ensure awareness of opportunities at WellSpan.
  6. Uses applicant tracking system and relationship management tools to track students/candidates and connect them with recruiters.
  7. Works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure students/candidates are being considered for employment opportunities.
  8. Develops and maintains reports to show student/candidate pipelines and network of schools and outside organizations
  9. Attends job fairs and employment events at local schools and community sites.
  10. Works closely with operational area leaders and recruiters to understand needs and details about departments/units to relay those details to potential candidates.
  11. Works closely with various Human Resources departments to understand details of benefits and employee programs to market them to candidates.
  12. Supports the development and maintenance of all marketing material that is used for recruitment including displays, handouts, and flyers.
  13. Is an ambassador of WellSpan and represents the organization in a positive manner.
  14. Identifies leaders to support recruitment by attending events when possible.


  • Minimum Experience:
    • 5 years in Healthcare; Recruitment and other human resources disciplines including: compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee/labor relations, training, and organizational development; Full scope staffing, including recruitment and account management
  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Sales/Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Recruitment or Healthcare Marketing; Sales; Public Relations
  • Preferred Certification:
    • Registration/Certification in Human Resources or Healthcare Recruitment
  • Physical Demands:
    • Local Travel
    • Consistently lifts recruitment event supplies/equipment
    • Occasional prolonged standing/walking
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects; Effective presentation skills; Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Office - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Advanced education/training in the areas of consulting, behavior modification, recruiting, sales, negotiation, preferred; Experience with applicant tracking systems and other electronic recruitment tools; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving; Exemplary organizational skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow through on requests; Ability to analyze using qualitative and quantitative information for decision support; Ability to influence hiring management to move quickly in selection and offer stages to optimize the opportunity to hire top candidates.
