Behavior Consultant - CADD Adult Services Center for Autism Developmental Disabilities - Day/Evening
Full time (80 hours biweekly)

Located in Lancaster County, the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) is a regional center of excellence that serves patients and families in Central Pennsylvania. We have a multidisciplinary team (from the fields of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, applied behavior analysis, social work, and counseling) with recognized expertise in the treatment of the social, emotional, and behavioral issues affecting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID). We provide community-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services for adults in a variety of settings. We also offer center-based services, which include diagnostic evaluations, consultation, trainings, and outpatient treatment.

Job Description:
Works collaboratively with the ABA-A team to implement Behavior Support Plans (BSP) designed by the BCBA to meet client goals. Designs client specific programing and data monitoring to evaluate effectiveness of interventions. Teaches others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions under the direct supervision of a BCBA. Designs and delivers instruction under the supervision of a BCBA. Supervise the work of Behavior Technicians (BT).
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience:
- One year of experience in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services and experience in developing/implementing behavioral analytic treatment plans.
- Knowledge of and ability in the care and management of the unique needs of individuals with developmental disorders.
- Minimum Education:
- Master’s Degree
- Minimum Field Of Expertise:
- Clinical or counseling psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or another related field
- Required Certification:
- BCaBA certification OR Master’s in ABA or related field such as Psychology or Education with a specialty in ABA
- Skills:
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills; analytical abilities; visual ability to observe patient behavior and dynamics to prepare and review written documentation.
- Demonstrate a willingness to positively contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team that specializes in the assessment and treatment of the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of adults with developmental disorders such as Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Ability to problem solve and collaborate to promote positive outcomes.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management. Must be able to provide own transportation from one client to another (does not transport clients your own vehicle).
