Full time (80 hours biweekly)

Weekdays, daytime hours

Hybrid options and flexible schedule after 90 days of employment to include possible telehealth, and remote data entry/ analysis and programming.

Located in Lancaster County, the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) is a regional center of excellence that serves patients and families in Central Pennsylvania. We have a multidisciplinary team (from the fields of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, applied behavior analysis, social work, and counseling) with recognized expertise in the treatment of the social, emotional, and behavioral issues affecting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID). We offer center-based services, which include diagnostic evaluations, short-term consultation and ongoing treatment. In addition, we provide community-based services, which include ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for adult in a variety of settings.

Who we serve…

 While CADD clients and families are all impacted by a developmental disability, we often support them with a variety of other concerns. These include but are not limited to: anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, social skills, interpersonal relationships, and family and caregiver support.

What we do…

CADD Outpatient therapists/counselors are responsible for providing clinic-based treatment to adults with a developmental disability. Treatment includes a variety of individual and group therapy all with a focus on improving the lives of those we serve. Clinicians are trained to employ a variety of treatment modalities including behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and family systems approaches.

Job Description:

Works collaboratively with the ABA-A team to conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Analyses (FBA), Behavior Support Plans (BSP), and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIP). Educates those engaged in clients care on behavior analytic interpretations of the results in a way that can be generalized across care team members. Designs and supervises the use of behavior analytic interventions to improve client’s quality of life. Develop, implement, and train others on appropriate assessment, intervention, and data collection methods. Models how to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research. Supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience:
  • One year of experience in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services and experience in developing/implementing behavioral analytic treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of and ability in the care and management of the unique needs of individuals with developmental disorders.
• Minimum Education:
  • Master’s Degree
• Minimum Field Of Expertise:
  • Clinical or counseling psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or another related field
• Required Certification:
  • BCBA certification
• Skills:
  • Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills; analytical abilities; visual ability to observe patient behavior and dynamics in order to prepare and review written documentation.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to positively contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team that specializes in the assessment and treatment of the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of adults with developmental disorders such as Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • Ability to problem solve and collaborate to promote positive outcomes.
  • Familiar with use of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management. Must be able to provide own transportation from one client to another.
