Located in Lancaster County, the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) is a regional center of excellence that serves patients and families in Central Pennsylvania. We have a multidisciplinary team (from the fields of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, applied behavior analysis, social work, and counseling) with recognized expertise in the treatment of the social, emotional, and behavioral issues affecting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID). We offer center-based services, which include diagnostic evaluations, short-term consultation and ongoing treatment. In addition, we provide community-based services, which include ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for adult in a variety of settings.
Who we serve…
While CADD clients and families are all impacted by a developmental disability, we often support them with a variety of other concerns. These include but are not limited to: anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, social skills, interpersonal relationships, and family and caregiver support.
What we do…
CADD Outpatient therapists/counselors are responsible for providing clinic-based treatment to adults with a developmental disability. Treatment includes a variety of individual and group therapy all with a focus on improving the lives of those we serve. Clinicians are trained to employ a variety of treatment modalities including behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and family systems approaches.

Will you join us?
Works collaboratively with the ABA-A team to conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Analyses (FBA), Behavior Support Plans (BSP), and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIP). Educates those engaged in clients care on behavior analytic interpretations of the results in a way that can be generalized across care team members. Designs and supervises the use of behavior analytic interventions to improve client’s quality of life. Develop, implement, and train others on appropriate assessment, intervention, and data collection methods. Models how to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research. Supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
