Associate General Counsel - Transactions

WellSpan Health is seeking an Associate General Counsel to lead complex business transactions.   This position reports to the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel and is part of a dynamic and talented legal team.  The Associate General Counsel – Transactions advises on matters relating to business operations, contracts, governance and transactions involving hospitals, ancillary and ambulatory facilities, physician groups and other providers within a nonprofit healthcare system.    This attorney will provide accurate and timely regulatory analysis and guidance related to current or desired future healthcare business operations, contractual relationships, transactions and governance structures. This position also provides the opportunity to work more broadly on legal matters within business and healthcare operations. 

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant corporate transactional and corporate governance experience.  Ideal candidates should also have experience in mergers, acquisitions and joint venture transactions, including experience drafting and reviewing terms sheets, letters of intent, definitive and ancillary transaction agreements, and organizational documents such as articles, bylaws and LLC operating agreements. 


Juris Doctorate degree required.  Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania required within 6-months of hire.
