General Summary:


The primary job duties of the Allied Mental Health Professional are individual and group therapy that include case consultation with the interdisciplinary team. 

 

Required Skills
  • Analytical skills are necessary for the collection and assessment of behavioral date, interpretation of these data and the ongoing review of treatment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Visual ability to observe patient behaviors and dynamics to prepare and review written documentation is required.
  • Knowledge of and ability in the care and handling of adults is required, including consideration of the special needs and behaviors of this group.
  • Demonstrates skills in organization, completing timely and thorough paperwork, time management, data collection, comprehensive reports, and use of technical equipment and programs.
  • Flexibility is required to work in an environment which is subject to change.
Required Experience
  1. A master’s degree preferred in clinical or counseling psychology OR a master’s of social work with therapy experience. 
  2. Experience working with the adult client population; major depression/bipolar; trauma informed/skilled; suicidality-assessment and intervention; self harm.
