Advanced Practice Provider-Adams County

WellSpan Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system serving the communities of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Urology team in Adams County. The organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 220 care locations, eight hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. WellSpan Health is a team of 20,000 healthcare professionals committed to transforming the health of the communities we serve and educating medicine's next generation of physicians, advanced practice providers and leaders. 

About the Practice

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant responsible for performing initial evaluation and ongoing management of patients with various urological conditions including BPH, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, kidney stones, UTIs, and more
  • Responsible for hospital consults in Gettysburg and outpatient care with flexibility to work varying 1.00 FTE daytime only schedule Monday-Friday (No after hours call, or weekend call) 
  • Support and collaborate alongside a team of eight Providers between Chambersburg Hospital and Gettysburg Hospital 
  • Assist Urologists in surgical procedures, including prep and post-op care of patients
  • Educate patients on urologic health, treatment options, and discharge instructions during 20-60 minute appointments
  • Document patient encounters in EPIC

Established in 1800, Adams County includes the borough of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
