WellSpan Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system serving the communities of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Oncology & Hematology team in York County. The organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 220 care locations, eight hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. WellSpan Health is a team of 20,000 healthcare professionals committed to transforming the health of the communities we serve and educating medicine's next generation of physicians, advanced practice providers and leaders. 

About the Position

  • Opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join Cancer team; Oncology & Hematology experience preferred
  • Full-time 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday position plus 1:5 or 1:6 on-call responsibilities providing direct patient care in a combined outpatient and inpatient hospital setting
  • Responsible for 9-10 patients per day, infusion room oversight, and in-basket assistance for physicians
  • Support approximately 60% Hematology, 40% Oncology patients 18+ years

  • Hanover is close enough to visit bigger cities like Baltimore, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia for day/weekend trips

The borough of Hanover was settled in the mid-1700s as part of York County and is known for its fertile land and productive farming community. It is geographically located 19 miles southwest of York, Pennsylvania and 54 miles northwest of Baltimore, Maryland.
