WellSpan Health, a comprehensive health system in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a thriving practice located in Adams County.  Employment with WellSpan Medical Group allows you to enjoy a fulfilling career in an organization with strong physician leadership, a culture of support, focus on patients, and low physician turnover.

About the Position

  • Exciting opportunity for a PA/NP to maintain established patient panel
  • The successful candidate will be energetic, compassionate, self-motivated and knowledgeable in all aspects of family medicine
  • Must be board certified and have a Pennsylvania license
  • Enjoy a well-balanced lifestyle; excellent hours and schedule – 4 day work week (off on Tuesdays)
  • Employed position with a large, well-respected medical group with over 1,900 providers
  • Modern practice utilizes system-wide electronic health record

Established in 1800, Adams County includes the borough of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Home to more than 100,000 residents, the town is a mecca for Civil War history buffs and visitors who come to tour the Gettysburg National Battlefield and Gettysburg National Military Park and see the annual Civil War reenactment.

Also located here is Gettysburg College, which has a strong academic reputation in liberal arts. The county is steeped in heritage, and offers a peaceful, country atmosphere, yet is a convenient drive to Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD and Harrisburg, PA.
