We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in York, PA.

What you can expect at your practice:

  • Full-time employment opportunity to work three 13-hour shifts per week at York Hospital, an ECMO gold center
  • Flexible scheduling options include day/night rotation, full-time nights, or weekends
  • Patient care includes a wide variety of medical and surgical cardiac patients
  • Position offers APPs an opportunity to serve patient populations with high cardiac acuity utilizing a multi-modal approach
  • Critical Care team includes but is not limited to critical care intensivists, cardiac surgeons, advanced heart failure physicians, and critical care pharmacists
  • APPs will utilize and manage a variety of mechanical circulatory support therapies for patient stabilization and treatment including ECMO, Impella, and LVADs
  • APPs will be taught how to do central lines, swans, arterial lines, chest tubes, and participate in ECMO cannulations among other procedures
  • APPs will maximize learning and education while working with a high level of clinical autonomy
