Day Shift (9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)

General Summary:


Under the general supervision of Quest Manager, performs diversified and confidential administrative duties, explains benefit coverage, answers members’ questions/inquiries, and documents appropriately. Requires an intermediate degree of technical and communications/interpersonal skills, knowledge and ability. May administer programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Explains benefit coverage to members and/or providers orally or in writing.
  • Interacts with appropriate sources to answer members’ questions/inquiries and resolve members’ concerns and problems orally or in writing.
  • Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to staff. Prepares outgoing mail, appropriately following policies/procedures.
  • Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
  • Sets up and maintains electronic files and records which may contain confidential information.
  • Provides administrative support to Quest Manager/Coordinator as directed. This may include collecting information needed by supervisor for conferences, typing memorandums, policies, committee minutes, and other general typing as appropriate.
  • Compiles and prepares data needed for regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and other related duties based on the needs of the project.
  • Schedules appointments; coordinates and/or arranges meetings; maintains and updates supervisor’s daily calendar.
  • Attends meetings and records minutes, as required.

Quest Behavioral Health is a full service administrator of mental health and substance abuse benefits and Employee Assistance Programs for healthcare organizations, businesses, school districts and other employers in Pennsylvania.

Required Skills
  • High School or G.E.D.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
